Calls Tbilisi+35 Unprecedented and Unique
Tbilisi+35 has proved to be unprecedented in bringing together more than 60 Ministers and Vice-Ministers and other high-level delegates from 98 countries to commemorate the 1977 Tbilisi Declaration and 35 years of global educational efforts towards a sustainable world.
Opening of Tbilisi+35
On 6 September 2012, the Intergovernmental Conference on Education for Sustainable Development: Tbilisi+35 was launched in Tbilisi, Georgia with the participation of 300 delegates from over 98 countries, representatives of different intergovernmental, non-governmental and national organizations. The Conference was opened by the President of Georgia, H.E. Mr. Mikheil Saakashvili.

Tbilisi+35 Expert Group Meeting
On 4 September, 2012 the first Tbilisi+35 Expert Group meeting was held at the Hotel Holiday Inn, Tbilisi. The Conference Expert Group has been set up to support and advice the Secretariat and the partners in producing the Conference outcome document
Georgia Hosts Tbilisi+35
On 6-7 September Georgia will host an International Intergovernmental Conference: Environmental Education for Sustainable Development: Tbilisi+35. Ministers of environment as well as education experts are already arriving today from countries all around the world.
